We the EPS 1995 pensioners humbly appeal to your good selves that the budget provision for hike of minimum pension at an adequate level linked of dearness allowance that would settle our life freed of mental tension may kindly be made as being urged by the pensioners and the associations for the financial problems directly connected to the needs of basic life , question of survival , with continuance of unrest in life since long time in order that the pensioners do not again resort to agitations , protests , hunger strikes assembling in Raam Leela maidan and Jantar Mantar, on new Delhi Roads with gloomy faces crying for justice coming from the far away places to new Delhi faced of old age problems of likelihood of falling on the ground and getting injured sometimes fatal accidents/incidents with imbalanced body during agitation movement going disarray , berserik by loss of temper , flare up on being disappointed , taking them to custody by police machinery for law and order problem although no offense take place by the peace loving senior citizens .
Kindly resolve the issue this time so that the pensioners get relieved of economic stress being experienced by them with much pain hurt for long time and ashamed of seeking financial help from others for basic needs having led their decent life while in service now found so helpless to the extent they stand before others stretching their hands for help what they never ever thought of it . It may please be felt by the concerned authorities to uplift their life from the so worsened conditions of life .
The honorable members of parliament having welfare interest of the SENIOR CITIZEN EPS 95 pensioners of their constituency are also speaking in the house across the party lines inclusive of ruling party honorable M Ps for alleviating the sufferings of pensioners .
We leave it to conscience of the honorable government as to how we would continue to be treated . Better we please be protected as valuable assets of the nation while alive as yester years service contributors for the growth of the nation .
