While submitting the memorandum at BJP Headquarters in Delhi, the Central Team discussed in detail about the minimum pension hike and medical facility of EPS 95 pensioners.
It was told that BJP spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Shri Prakash Javadekar had raised the issue of minimum pension hike in Rajya Sabha on 14.05.2012 and now even after 11 years of Bhagat Singh Koshyari Committee’s recommendation and despite BJP/NDA Government being in power, the Government has put this issue aside.
Therefore, fulfilling the promise made by BJP spokesperson on behalf of the party, the minimum pension should be increased from Rs. 1000/- to Rs. 7500/- + DA without delay.
Hon. Shri Tawde Ji clearly said that –
*To take a decision on this sensitive issue, I will talk to the Hon’ble Labor Minister today itself and will also talk to the party president and try to get immediate justice for the old pensioners.*”

The Central Team met with BJP’s *National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha Member Shri Radha Mohan Das Agrawal Ji*
*submitted representation for discussion to approve the pending demands of EPS 95 pensioners.
*He was thanked for raising the issue of pension hike effectively and in detail in Rajya Sabha on 03.08.2023*
On behalf of NAC, gratitude was expressed to the honorable MP and on the other hand, grief was expressed, that even after raising the issue by you, the demands of EPS95 pensioners have not been fulfilled till date.
It was clearly told that anger among EPS 95 pensioners is at its peak as this issue is pending for last 10 years. Therefore It should be resolved immediately.
*During the discussion, Hon’ble MP assured the delegation that “I am fully aware of your demands, I myself have been present in the Gorakhpur session of NAC and I am trying at my level to get the demands of the pensioners accepted*

Hon’ble Minister of Labor and Employment, paying attention to the nationwide agitations of NAC on 27.09.2024 and 01.10.2024, called the National General Secretary of NAC for a meeting on 09.10.2024 at Shram Shakti Bhavan, Delhi to discuss the pending demands of EPS 95 pensioners.

During the meeting, Hon. Labor Minister listened to us patiently.
*The reactions of the elderly EPS95 pensioners who participated in the nationwide demonstration on 27.09.2024 and Call attention- Dharna Aandolan in the financial capital of the Nation, Mumbai, on 01.10.2024 were also brought to the notice of the Hon’ble Minister and it was also told that the dissatisfaction among the pensioners has reached its peak, which is a matter of concern and needs to be resolved immediately*
Hon. Minister ,On hearing the side of NAC, said that –
*Appropriate action on all these issues is in process and a decision will be taken soon*.
After the meeting, Hon’ble Labor Minister directed the NAC Secretary General to reach the EPFO head office in Delhi with the NAC delegation and hold discussions with senior officials.

*Meeting and discussion of NAC delegation with Hon’ble Additional Central Provident Fund Commissioner (Administration) Shri Chandramouli Chakraborty*
Expressing displeasure on behalf of the NAC delegation, it was said that –
All the facts and evidence have already been presented by the NAC on the demands of increasing the minimum pension to Rs. 7500 + DA and higher pension benefits without any discrimination.
Despite clear assurances given by all of you senior officials of EPFO on 14.08.2024, 27.08.2024 and 27.09.2024, why this delay? This is a matter of concern.
And also
Why are the cases of higher pension of pensioners belonging to Exempted Establishments still pending at the EPFO/employers level? Issues like these were discussed in detail.
* Shri Chandramouli ji informed that the process is going on under the personal supervision of the Hon’ble Labor Minister. Our proposals for minimum pension increase are ready.
A positive decision will be taken soon on the cases pending with EPFO / employers for approval of higher pension benefits*.
At the end of the meeting, on behalf of the NAC delegation, gratitude was expressed to Hon’ble Shri Chandramouli Chakraborty ji and Shri Shubham ji Agrawal, RPFC for immediately conveying the sentiments of the pensioners, in fact of all the issues were discussed in today’s meeting to the Hon’ble Labor Minister and expecting cooperation in getting the 4 point demands of EPS 95 old age pensioners approved.

These types of ‘Dhonkhabazi’ started by the then CPFC before Parliament election saying “₹5000 or ₹4000 per month interim relief will be given shortly. But actually it was a JUMLA. This time you, our leadership should be careful against any JUMLA.
