ఇ.పి.ఎస్ పెన్షనదార్లకు బడ్జెట్ లో మొండి చేయి చూపించడం అన్యాయమని,అతి తక్కువ పెన్షన్ తో తీవ్ర ఆర్థిక ఇబ్బంది పడుతున్న ఇ.పి.ఎస్ పెన్షన్ దార్లకు, కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం బడ్జెట్ లో మొండి చేయి చూపించడం, వారికి తీవ్ర అన్యాయం చేయడమేనని ‘ఆల్ పెన్షనర్స్ & రిటైర్డ్ పర్సన్ అసోసియేషన్’ శ్రీకాకుళం జిల్లా అధ్యక్ష ప్రధానకార్యదర్శులు డి.పార్వతీశం, ఎమ్.ఆదినారాయణమూర్తి విమర్శించారు.
గురువారం స్థానిక ఆర్.టి.సి కాంప్లెక్స్ వద్ద జరిగిన ఇ.పి.ఎస్ పెన్షనదార్లు నిరసన కార్యక్రమంలో వారు మాట్లాడుతూ, దేశ వ్యాపితంగా నున్న 76 లక్షలమంది ఇ.పి.ఎస్ పెన్షనదార్లలో సుమారు 36 లక్షల మంది పెన్షన్ రూ.1000/- లోపు మాత్రమే, సుమారు 20 లక్షలమందికి రెండు వేలు లోపు, సుమారు 14 లక్షలమందికి మూడు వేలు లోపు పెన్షన్ మాత్రమే చెల్లింపు జరుగుతుందని విమర్శించారు.
90% మందికి పైగా చెల్లింపబడుతున్న పెన్షన్ మూడు వేలు రూపాయలు మాత్రమేనని, కరువు భత్యం లేదని జీవితాంతం అదే పెన్షన్ తో కుటుంబాలు ఏ విధంగా బ్రతకాలని వారు ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ప్రశ్నించారు.
2014 సంవత్సరంలో బి.జె.పి తన ఎలక్షన్ మ్యానిఫెస్టో లో, తను అధికారం లోనికి వస్తే కనీస పెన్షన్ రూ. 3,000/- మరియు కరువు భత్యం ఇస్తానని హామీ ఇచ్చింది. తర్వాత మూడవ సారి అధికారం లోనికి వచ్చింది. ఇప్పటివరకూ చేసింది దాదాపు శూన్యం అని విమర్శించారు.ఇ.పి.ఎస్ పెన్షన్ పై వేసిన కోషియర్ కమిటీ, హై పవర్ కమిటీ, పార్లమెంటరీ కమిటీ పెంపుదలకు అనుకూలంగా రిపోర్టులు ఇచ్చినా అమలు జరగలేదని అన్నారు. ఇ.పి.ఎస్ కార్పస్ ఫండ్ వివరాలు పరిశీలించినా, పెన్షన్ చెల్లింపు కార్పస్ ఫండ్ పై వచ్చిన వడ్డీలో సుమారు 28% మాత్రమే.

అందుచేత కార్పస్ ఫండ్ పెరుగుతునే ఉందనిఅన్నారు. అధిక పెన్షన్ చెల్లించ లేదన్నది సరియైనది కాదు. పైగా 2014 తర్వాత సర్వీసులో చేరిన ఉద్యోగులు సి.పి.ఎస్ పెన్షన్ విధానం లోనికి వెళ్తారు. అనగా భవిష్యత్తులో ఇ.పి.ఎస్ పెన్షన్ దార్లు క్రమంగా తగ్గడమే కాని పెరగదు.ఇంతే కాకుండా సుమారు 60 వేలు కోట్ల రూపాయలు క్లయిమ్ చేయని ఫండ్ ఉంది.
సి.ఐ.టి.యు జిల్లా ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి పి.తేజేశ్వరరావు మాట్లాడుతూ, ఇప్పటికైనా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఇ.పి.ఎస్ పెన్షన్ దార్లకు జరుగనున్న అన్యాయం సరిదిద్దాలని కోరారు. నిరంతరం పెరుగుతున్న జీవన వ్యయంతో, జీవిత చరమాంకంలో, 9000 రూపాయల పెన్షన్ చాలని పరిస్థితిలో వేయి, రెండు వేల పెన్షన్ తో బ్రతకడమెలా? అని వ్రశ్నించారు.
ఏపీఎస్ఆర్టీసీ రిటైర్డ్ ఉద్యోగుల యూనియన్ జిల్లా అధ్యక్షులు బి లక్ష్మణరావు పెన్షన్ దారుల పోరాటానికి మద్దతు తెలియజేశారు. ఏపీఎస్ఆర్టీసీ రిటైర్డ్ ఎంప్లాయిస్ యూనియన్ రాష్ట్ర ఉపాధ్యక్షులు ఎస్.ఎస్.ఆర్. శర్మ, బిఎస్ఎన్ఎల్ ఎంప్లాయిస్ యూనియన్ జిల్లా అధ్యక్షులు ఎం గోవర్ధనరావు మద్దతు తెలియజేశారు.ఈ పరిస్థితుల్లో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఇ.పి.ఎస్ పెన్షన్ దార్ల న్యాయమైన డిమాండ్లు అమలు చేయాలని డిమాండ్ చేసారు.కనీస పెన్షన్ తొమ్మిది వేలు రూపాయలు మరియు కరువు భత్యం ఇవ్వాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
భార్యా భర్తలకు పూర్తి స్థాయి వైద్య సదుపాయం కల్పించాలని,
రైల్వే రాయితీ పునరిద్దరించాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
తేదీ 4/11/22న సుప్రీ కోర్టు ఇచ్చిన జడ్జిమెంట్ వాస్తవ జీతం ఆధారంగా, మినహాయింపు లేకుండా అందరికీ వర్తింప చేయాలని కోరారు.

‘All Pensioners & Retired Person Association’ Srikakulam has said that it is unfair for EPS pensioners to show a stubborn hand in the budget and to the EPS pensioners who are facing severe financial difficulties with very low pension, the central government showing a stubborn hand in the budget is doing them a serious injustice. In the protest program of EPS pensioners held at the local RTC complex on Thursday, they said that out of 76 lakh EPS pensioners across the country, about 36 lakhs pension is less than Rs.1000/- and about 20 lakhs get Rs.2000/-. It has been criticized that only about 14 lakh people will be paid less than 3000 pension.
They questioned the government that the pension paid to more than 90% people is only three thousand rupees and there is no drought allowance.
In the year 2014, BJP in its election manifesto, if it comes to power, the minimum pension will be Rs. 3,000/- and promised drought allowance. Then came to power for the third time. He criticized that what has been done so far is almost nothing. He said that even though reports were given in favor of the Kosher Committee, High Power Committee and Parliamentary Committee on the increase in EPS pension, it was not implemented. If we look at the details of EPS corpus fund, the pension payment is only about 28% of the interest earned on the corpus fund.
That is why the corpus fund is increasing. It is not correct that the higher pension is not paid. Moreover, the employees who joined the service after 2014 will go under the CPS pension system. In other words, in the future, the EPS pension rates will gradually decrease but not increase. Apart from this, there is an unclaimed fund of about 60 thousand crore rupees.
District General Secretary of CITU P. Tejeswara Rao said that the central government has requested to correct the injustice done to the EPS pensioners. With the ever-increasing cost of living, at the end of life, how can you live with a pension of 1,000 or 2,000 when a pension of 9000 rupees is enough? They asked.
APSRTC Retired Employees Union District President B Lakshmana Rao expressed support for the struggle of the pensioners. APSRTC Retired Employees Union State Vice President S.S.R. Sharma, District President of BSNL Employees’ Union M Govardhana Rao expressed their support. In these circumstances, they demanded that the central government should implement the fair demands of EPS pensioners. They demanded that the minimum pension should be nine thousand rupees and drought allowance.
